Will has spent his teaching career developing hands-on science activities to aid students in their understanding of difficult concepts while engaging them in their own education. Over the last six years, Will has taught in public schools in both North Carolina and Washington. Will was recognized as the first year teacher of the year at Millbrook High School in Raleigh, NC. He develops lessons based on each student’s learning style, helping them recognize their strengths and overcome their limitations. Will’s goal is to have all students become lifelong learners, and his lessons are structured to spark this desire. In fact, his lessons focus on teaching common core science skills to help students “think like scientists”. Will is a graduate of UNC-Asheville with a BS in Environmental Studies with a 9-12 Science teaching license.
