Tommy Lee, MAEd, LCAS

Tommy embodies the humanistic approach to the client-therapist relationship and is a firm believer in the power of experiential techniques to inspire change. Tommy is passionate about the capacity of individuals to change and the need for compassion and patience when supporting others in their respective processes. Carri holds a BA in Biology from Wofford College and a MA in Counseling Education from East Carolina University in Oregon. A Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Tommy’s specific clinical focus areas are in substance use, anxiety, and depression. Prior to joining the Academy, Tommy spent many years as a wilderness therapist at a regional young adult wilderness program that specialized in dual diagnoses concurrent with addiction as well as several community-based outpatient programs. In his free time, Tommy enjoys camping, playing disc golf, live music, spending time with friends, and dabbling in the fine art of fly fishing.
